FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know about our epoxy flooring systems.

How much does epoxy flooring cost in Utah?

Our epoxy flooring starts at $6.50 per square foot for garage flake systems, basement coatings, and outdoor patio coatings. Metallic epoxy and commercial systems are priced by custom quote. Every estimate is free with no obligation.

How long does epoxy flooring last?

A properly installed epoxy floor with correct surface prep lasts 15-20+ years. We back every install with a 15-year limited warranty covering peeling, bubbling, and delamination.

How long until I can walk or drive on my new epoxy floor?

You can walk on your new floor 24 hours after installation and drive on it within 72 hours. Full cure takes 7 days, but normal use is fine after 72 hours.

Do you serve my city in Utah?

We serve 35+ cities across Utah including Ogden, Layton, Clearfield, Salt Lake City, Provo, Orem, Sandy, Draper, West Jordan, Logan, and more. Check our service areas page for the full list.

What is the difference between flake and metallic epoxy?

Flake epoxy uses decorative vinyl flakes broadcast across the surface for a textured, speckled look. Metallic epoxy uses reflective pearl and metallic pigments mixed into the base coat for a swirling, three-dimensional marbled effect. Flake is more durable for high-traffic areas; metallic is more decorative for showpiece spaces.

Can you epoxy over existing tile or damaged concrete?

Tile must be removed first. Damaged concrete can often be repaired — we grind, fill cracks, and patch surface defects before coating. The key is proper surface prep, which is why we include crack and surface repair in every quote.

Will hot tires peel my garage epoxy?

No. Our commercial-grade polyaspartic topcoat is specifically formulated to resist hot-tire pickup, which is the #1 failure point with cheaper DIY epoxy kits from big-box stores.

Is epoxy flooring slippery?

Flake systems have natural texture from the flakes. For smooth systems like solid color or metallic, we can add a slip-resistant aggregate to the topcoat. Outdoor applications always get a textured finish for safety.

How do I maintain my epoxy floor?

Sweep regularly and mop with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, and acid-based cleaners. Use felt pads under chair legs and furniture. Reapply a clear topcoat every 5-7 years to restore the original shine.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Every install comes with a 15-year limited warranty covering peeling, bubbling, and delamination. The warranty excludes damage from unpadded chair legs, so we recommend felt pads on all furniture.

How long does installation take?

Most residential garage installs take 1-2 days. Larger commercial projects take 2-4 days depending on square footage and system complexity. We give you a firm timeline with your estimate.
